We discovered a leak in our bathroom/kitchen plumbing and a plumber contacted Restoration 1 for us. Tony came to our home the next day to look at our situation and immediately began making plans to find the source of the leak. He and Doug (another employee) opened up a wall and eventually had to remove kitchen cabinets to further determine the cause. Once the issue was fixed by a plumber, Tony and Doug returned to our home to begin the drying out process, and we are now in the final phase of restoration. From the beginning, Tony kept us up to date on what was happening along with the next step in the process. He was very informative! He and Doug were also kind and considerate about what we were dealing with, and patient with us while we made decisions. They were also very resourceful as we had a kitchen countertop that could not be removed, but the cabinets under it had to be removed. With patience and careful work, they were able to keep the countertop in tack during the entire process. Tony was in contact with our insurance company and handled his work separately (mitigation) so we didn’t have to be concerned with it. Tony also texted us when he was on his way to our home and was always on time and kept his word. They were neat and clean and always looked for the best solutions to our situation. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend Restoration 1.
